The Annual Hypothermic Half MarathonÂ is a winter half marathon event held in beautiful winter cities across Canada. Each registrant receives a Hypothermic Run Set, which includes a running backpack and toque, a unique finisher's medal, and complimentary brunch.

The BIG chill is back! The City of Bathurst is proud to present this one of a kind fatbike & snowshoe duathlon. This year's event will include a mass start and two divisions. The non-competitive division will complete two laps of the 5K course: one lap on snowshoes & one lap on fatbike for a total of 10KMs. The competitive division will complete 3 laps of the course: one lap on snowshoes and two laps on fatbike for a total of 15KMs. No fatbike? It's that time of year again! Yep, the Freeze Your Gizzard is back and better than ever. Last year we added a 5k to the event and saw record numbers and records broken! The annual slush run/walk is a 5 mile race which starts at 10 a.m. for runners and 9:30 for walkers(3 mile) . The fee is 10 dollars per person Registration starts at 9 a.m. The half way point of this race will find you turning around near the entrance to the Fortress of Louisbourg site. From here you can trek back to the finish line.
