A scenic route that starts on route 225 in Stanchel at the Old Church of Scotland. The course runs west, with some “nice rolling hills” (!!) to the Village of Kinkora. From there, you travel south onto route 109 towards beautiful Scales Pond and International Children’s Memorial Place in Lower Freetown following the 109 and ending at Community Gardens in Kensington.
The Kensington Harvest Festival 25K is known as the “killer course” and is one of the oldest road races on PEI, with the 2017 running being the 44th Annual.
This event is sanctioned by the PEI Roadrunners. It is a Hashem’s Variety / PEI Roadrunners Point Race.
